Borrisileigh’s Michael Tierney was elected last night following a reconvened vote in the Dome at Semple Stadium.
The vote had to be redone following an error on the night of the county convention when there was more votes counted than delegates attending.
Last night Michael Tierney was elected ahead of Roscrea’s Mark McLoughlin on a vote of 130 to 101.
