Tipp manager Michael Ryan says the younger additions to the senior hurling panel have helped the squad reach higher levels.
The Premier County face Galway in the All Ireland semi-final in Croke Park on Sunday.
Ryan says the under 21 additions to the squad have been worthwhile.
