Thurles Sarsfields are the County Junior B Hurling champions.
They took on Newport in Annacarty this afternoon.
After a close fought game Sars emerged winners by 2 points on a final score of 1-8 to 0-9.
Meanwhile the first of the County Under 21 B hurling semi finals went to extra time.
At the end of normal time it was Lorrha Dorrha 0-13 Golden Kilfeacle 1-10.
Lorrha emerged victorious after extra time with just a point to spare – 0-16 to 1-12.
