Ryan expects close contest with Galway

Tipp and Galway are set to renew old rivalries this weekend in what’ll be the third year in a row the sides meet in the All Ireland semi final.

The tribesmen’s 26 points to 3-16 success in 2015 and Tipperary’s victory by 2-19 to 2-18 last August gives way to another huge encounter for both teams.

However, Tipp finished the All Ireland Quarter Final last week against Clare, with a fully changed back four in comparison to last year’s game against Galway.

Tipp manager Michael Ryan says there’ll be nothing between the sides.
