Calls for Director of Hurling to be appointed in Tipp

Calls have been made for a Director of Hurling to be appointed in Tipperary.

It comes following the resignation of the Premier’s senior hurling manager Michael Ryan and his backroom team of Conor Stakelum, Niall Madden and Declan Fanning.

A number of people have already been mentioned in the list of names in the running to take over, including: Minor Manger Tommy Dunne, U21 Manager Liam Cahill, Cashel’s Colm Bonnar, who’s masterminded the rise of Carlow hurling, and former Tipp keeper Brendan Cummins.
