Some clubs in Tipperary have expressed concern that teams will face a short window of time for recovery in this years senior hurling championships.

The draw for the Tipperary Preliminary round and Quarter finals of the senior hurling championship was made this week following which there’s been criticism of the short timeframe between games.

For example the winner of the Borris / Swans game will have to play 3 weeks in a row as they had their divisional final, now a provisional Quarter Final and then the winner will face the Quarter Final clash.

Speaking to Tipp FM, Secretary of the CCC Tom Maher said that while it’s not ideal, that’s what the clubs agreed to.
