A former Tipp football manager says there's a lot of 'good talent' in Tipperary's underage football development squads.
Former Premier County manager John Owens was called into the Leitrim minor panel at the age of 15.
The Down native went on to play for Tipp seniors between 1985 and 1997.
He believes there are reasons to be optimistic about the future of football in this county.
