The 29 year old father of one – who also used to play for the Senior Tipperary Hurlers as well club hurling with Cashel King Cormacs was hospitalised after being attacked at a fast foot outlet in Britain.
Its believed he suffered mulitple injuries including a fractured jaw
Brendan Bonnar, the chairman of Cashel King Cormacs, said everyone had the highest of respect for him and wished him all the best describing him as a dedicated sportsman who loves hurling.
