Kerry defeated Liam Kearns' side 0-16 to 0-10 in the Group A Round 3 clash at Sean Treacy Park in Tipperary Town.
Despite the loss, the Tipp boss delcared himself happy with many aspects of his side's display.
Liam Casey (0-3) and Billy Hewitt (0-2) got half of the Premier County's scores.
