FIFA says they are close monitoring the child sex abuse allegations which have rocked English football.
A number of players have spoken out about the abuses they suffered at Crewe in the 1980s.
In a statement the world governing body says the protection of young people is “fundamental in football”.
The English FA has confirmed they are investigating the allegations, and Crewe have begun an independent review.
