Dundalk in Europa League action this evening

Dundalk stand on the edge of another piece of history this evening.

A win away to Maccabi Tel Aviv could see Stephen Kenny's side reach the knockout phase of the Europa League.

Dundalk also need a favour from runaway group leaders, Zenit.

The Russian side need to take something from their trip to second-placed A-Z Alkmaar to offer hope to the Lilywhites.

Both Group D games kick off at 6.

Irish Independent football writer Dan Mc Donnell is with the Dundalk squad in Israel and says the Lillywhites are better prepared for this game than their previous match against A-Z Alkmaar.

Manchester United must avoid defeat away to the Ukranians of Zorya if they're to avoid an early exit from Europe.

And Southampton just need to avoid a loss at home to Hapoel Beer Sheva if they're to go through from Group K.
