The JK Bracken's clubman was taken off with a hip injury during last Sundays win over Waterford.
He has undergone a scan and team doctor John Hynes will discuss the results with the 19-year-old this evening.
Tipperary are set to take on the current Munster and All Ireland champions on Sunday 14th June in the provincial semi final in Semple Stadium.
