The line up for this year's County Senior Hurling Championship semi finals has been decided.
The West Champions Clonoulty Rossmore will take on the defending champions Thurles Sarsfield (Mid) while Killenaule (South) face Kildangan (North) in the other semi final – Both matches are expected to be played next Sunday.
Clonoulty Rossmore and Kildangan booked their places in the semis after wins over Mullinahone and Drom & Inch respectively yesterday.
Kildangan took an early lead in their clash with Drom & Inch and at half time were three points up – Drom staged a fight back but Kildangan clocked up two second half goals.
Drom also secured a goal late into injury time but it wasn't enough and they went down 2-18 to 1-17 to Kildangan.
In the earlier game Clonoulty dominated proceedings from the outset with their forwards finding space to score and by half time were leading 12 points to 4 over Mullinahone.
Mullinahone secured a second half goal and a further 6 points but a late goal sealed victory for Clonoulty on a scoreline of 1-18 to 1-10.
Centre back John O'Keefe limped off injured in the second half but manager Philip Quirke is confident he will be fighting fit for next Sunday.
