Clonmel’s Daire Lynch qualifies for Olympic Games

A Tipperary man has qualified for next year’s Olympic Games.

Clonmel’s Daire Lynch booked his ticket to Paris this morning at the World Rowing Championships in Belgrade.

The Tipperary man alongside his teammate Philip Doyle finished second in their Men’s Double Sculls semi-final.

Along with securing Olympic qualification with the performance, the duo have also booked a spot in Sunday’s World final.
