Changes to Wexford hurling panel

Guiney was dropped from the panel ahead of this year's Leinster semi final with Kilkenny after a falling-out with manager Liam Dunne.

A meeting with management has cleared the air, with Dunne saying Guiney has given a clear commitment to the Model County for the coming year.

However, Tomás Waters is the latest Wexford hurler to call time on their career.

The St. Martin's clubman recovered from a debilitating knee injury to reclaim his place in the panel, but has found the rigours of the inter-county game too much for the afflicted joint.
