Build-up to county hurling finals continues

Coach Paddy McCormack believes this group have helped to keep the Mid Tipp club's non-intercounty players tuned up during the quiet summer period.

The decision of Kiladangan's younger players to assert themselves this year has paid huge dividends.

Alan Flynn thinks being on the brink of their greatest ever success is proof of that.

Tipp FM will have live commentary on the final at Semple Stadium on Sunday.  Our build-up will begin just after 3 o'clock – coverage will be brought to you in association with Top Oil, Thurles.

The Minor A Hurling Championship Final is also being played in Thurles on Sunday afternoon.

St Mary's Clonmel and JK Brackens Og will battle it out for the trophy.

The South Tipp side's captain Kyle Peters isn't sure they deserve the favourite's tag.

Neil Quinlan is Brackens' vice-captain.

He says there's a lot of excitement in Templemore ahead of the game.

Tipp FM will bring you updates from the match, which gets underway at 1.15 on Sunday afternoon.
