Bourke delighted with Tipp representation in Finals

They'll face Kilkenny and Limerick respectively at Croke Park on Sunday week.

Tipp's 1991 Liam MacCarthy Cup winning team will also be honoured on finals day.

Michael Bourke is confident the board will deal with all aspects of the county's success.

Meanwhile in football, former Mayo and Armagh player Billy Joe Padden has backed the Mayo county board’s decision not to play senior club games before the All Ireland final on September 18th.

The board announced the move last night and Padden says an extra week together will benefit Stephen Rochford’s squad ahead of their clash with Kerry or Dublin.
