Bourke believes reform of Senior Football Championship is on the way

The County Board Chairman says he thinks the proposals to reform the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship will be adopted.

Although some of what is being suggested by GAA Director General Paraic Duffy has attracted considerable criticism Michael Bourke is convinved the new format will get the required support at Congress.

It has been suggested that replacing the quarter-finals with a group stage wouldn't be good for so-called weaker counties.
