Antia considering Canada offer

It's reported that Canada has made an offer to Zaur Antia, the head of Ireland's high performance boxing unit.

Antia is said to be 'considering his options' according to the Irish Independent and is understood to be left 'deeply frustrated' with how Michael O'Reilly's doping violation was revealed to him.

The news comes following a mixed week for Irish boxing at the Olympics, with Steven Donnelly's win yesterday bringing some relief following disappointing losses for Paddy Barnes, David Oliver Joyce and Joe Ward.
