All Ireland Champions Tipperary lead the way in this year's nominations for the Hurling All Star awards.
The Premier County has 15 nominations…Waterford have 9 while beaten All Ireland finalists Kilkenny have 8.
The Tipperary nominations are Darren Gleeson in goals…
Defenders Cathal Barrett, James Barry, Pádraic Maher, Ronan Maher, Michael Cahill and Séamus Kennedy have all been shortlisted while Michael Breen and Brendan Maher are included in midfield.
Séamus Callanan, Patrick Maher, John McGrath, Noel McGrath, John O’Dwyer and Dan McCormack are all nominated in the forward line.
Séamus Callanan and Pádraic Maher are also shortlisted for Player of the Year, while Ronan Maher is among the nominees for the Young Player of the Year.
The winners will be announced next month.
