Tipperary camogie clubs vote on motion to remove mandatory skorts

Clubs in Tipperary have come out against the wearing of skorts in camogie.

At this year’s AGM last week, a number of clubs put forward a motion to allow for the wearing of shorts.

Currently in camogie, players are not permitted to wear shorts but instead must wear skorts.

The motion to change this was passed at the Tipperary Camogie AGM and will go forward to the Munster Council.
