Gleeson named to start for World Rugby U20 Championship semi-final

Brian Gleeson is named to start for Ireland in Sunday’s World rugby U20 Championship semi-final.

Ireland play hosts South Africa in Cape Town with kick-off set for 3.30pm Irish time.

The Loughmore man lines out wearing number 8 and will be hoping to add to the three tries he’s gotten in the championship so far.

Elsewhere, Gus McCarthy returns to the starting lineup to captain the side from the front row whilst Sam Prendergast starts at out-half.
