Carrick Swans march on to meet Holycross Ballycahill in the first County U21 A Hurling semi final

They overcame St Mary’s of Clonmel this afternoon, to be crowned South U21 A hurling champions in Ardfinnan.

Only a point separated the sides at half time – with Swans coming out two points the better in the end – and it finished St.Mary’s 1-9 (12) Carrick Swans 0-14 (14)

Kiladangan have booked their place in the North Under 21 A final – thanks to an impressive comeback against Toomevara.

With 5 points between the sides at half time, and Toomevara leading the way the game looked to be headed in one direction.

However, Kiladangan stayed in touch and hit six unanswered points in the last 20 minutes – to beat Toom by 3 points.

It finished up Kiladangan: 0-18(18) Toomevara: 1-12(15)

Kiladangan face Nenagh next Saturday in the North Final.

Golden Kilfeacle have been crowned West Under 21 B Hurling Champions

A tightly fought contest in Bansha proved too much for Cappawhite Gaels, who finished three points worse off.

The final score was Golden/Kilfeacle 4-11(23) Cappawhite Gaels: 1-17(20)

And finally, in local GAA this afternoon, Portroe have been crowned North Tipp Junior A Football Champions.

They overcame Burgess 1-10 (13) to 3-9 (18)
