Liam Kearns unhappy with McGrath Cup fixture list

Tipperary football manager Liam Kearns is criticising the scheduling of the McGrath Cup.

The Premier County opened their Group A campaign away to Kerry last weekend.

They're back in action against Cork this evening.

The Tipp boss says the rush to get his side's fixtures played doesn't make sense.

Meanwhile three Tipperary schools are in Dr Harty Cup quarter-final action this afternoon.

Last year's beaten finalists Our Lady's Templemore and Thurles CBS clash in The Ragg.

The other school from the Premier in the quarter-finals – Nenagh CBS – meet De La Salle College Waterford at Leahy Park, Cashel.

Both matches begin at 1.30pm.
