Kearns ‘very happy’ with NFL win against Laois

The Premier County made it two wins out of three in Division 3 by defeating Laois 1-16 to 1-10 in Portlaoise.

Tipp got a crucial, and strange, late goal from Kevin O'Halloran but it was captain Brian Fox who starred for the visitors at O'Moore Park.

The Éire Óg Annacarty-Donohill player was named man of the match and also contributed a point of his side's total.

Conor Sweeney was the Premier's top scorer – he got 0-7.

After the match Tipperary manager Liam Kearns told Tipp FM Sport that he was 'very happy' to get the win.

His team are next in action on Sunday March 5th when they take on Longford at Semple Stadium.
