Commercials beat Nemo Rangers of Cork to claim their, and Tipperary’s, first senior provincial football title.
They will now take a trip across the water to play London Champions Tir Chonaill Gaels in the All Ireland quarter final on Sunday December 13th in Ruislip.
Yesterday’s victory sparked jubilant scenes in Mallow as Nemo looked to have the upper hand as the clocked ticked away but the Tipp champions weren’t finished.
Michael Quinlivan scored the winning goal in stoppage time but he was quick to praise the defence for their role in the victory.
