Tipp trainer loses out in Naas feature

Michael O'Leary's Gigginstown House Stud were expected to win the feature Grade 2 Woodlands Park 100 Club Novice Chase at Naas today but it was with hot favourite Rule The World who is trained by Tipperary's Michael 'Mouse' Morris.

Instead it was their apparent second string Wounded Warrior who carried their colours to victory.

Wounded Warrior stayed on powerfully under Paul Carberry and had nine and a half lengths to spare over Rule The World to win the 1.55 race.

The first was off at quarter to one and was won by Social Riser at a price of 5/2.

The 1.20 was won by the Tipp trained Kitten Rock. Ballynonty's Eddie O'Grady saw the horse come in as the 4/7F.

Russian Bill took the 2.30 at a price of 13/8.

The 3.05 was won by A Grey Matter 5/2

Kilmurry Kid took the 3.40 at a price of 4/1.

The last race of the meet is off at ten past four that was won by the Gordon Elliot trained Tombstone at a price of 100/30.
