Tipp hurlers challenge game called off

Sunday's match – which was due to be played in Cloughjordan – has been called off as St Thomas' are apparently unable to play.

Meanwhile the Clare hurlers have made 8 changes to their side for tomorrows Munster senior hurling league tie with Limerick in Sixmilebridge.

Among those changes Donal Touhy is in goal while Cian Dillion returns to captain from full back.

Colm Galvin who was named at midfield for the Kerry game is at centre back with Jamie Shanahan at wing back in place of Brendan Bugler.

Corks team to face Waterford in Mallow has also been named.

The Rebels have gone for a mix of youth and experience with Antony Nash in goal behind a full back line of Jack Sheehan, Colm Spillane and Sean O'Donoughue.

Lorcan Mc Loughlin and Christopher Joyce are in the half back line while Cormac Murphy and Daniel Kearney are in midfield.

Patrick Horgan – who scored 2-5 against Limerick at the weekend is included at full forward.

Alan Cadogan who scored 1-4 at the weekend is on the bench.
