Tipp footballers record six point win over Clare

In front of 437 spectators, Tipperary were four points clear at half-time, 1-5 to 0-4, as Conor Sweeney accounted for 1-2 of the home side’s tally in the first half.

Goals from Sweeney and Philip Austin saw the Premier County ease past their Munster rivals to secure a total of four points from four games in Division 3. 

Austin and Sweeney both scored 1-2 a piece in an impressive contribution to Tipp's tally. 

Peter Creedon's men managed to score an impressive 2-8 from play.
