There was a double success for Tipperary in this morning's 3rd level hurling finals in Galway.
LIT Tipperary claimed the Ryan Cup after a 1-24 to 2-9 win over IT Tralee in today's final at Pearse Stadium.
While before that game, St. Pat's of Thurles won the Fergal Maher Cup with a comprehensive 4-19 to 1-7 win over St. Mary's of Belfast.
Rory Hickey was the star of the show in that game, scoring 4-5 to lead the school to victory.
There was also success for two Tipp underage camogie and ladies footballer teams this morning.
The U16 side qualified for the Munster final with a 3-12 to 1-3 win over Limerick, while the U14 ladies footballers squeezed passed Clare in their Munster Championship tie, winning 5-6 to 5-5.
