There was action in group one of the Seamus O Riain Cup last night, Burgess besting St Mary’s Clonmel 2-17 to 1-15 in Clonoulty.
Cahir was the venue for the County Intermediate Hurling Championship group two meeting of Cappawhite and Carrick Davins, Cappawhite notching up a convincing win of 3-20 1-11.
There was two matches in Group 3, Borrisokane overcame the challenge of Galtee Rovers/St Pecaun in Holycross.
That match finishing 4-16 to 2-12. With that victory, Borrisokane have now qualified for the next round.
While at Pairc Ciocaim in Dundrum, Arravale Rovers lost out to Drom-Inch by two points on a scoreline of 1-17 to 1-15.
That win secured Drom-Inch’s place in the knockout stage of the tournament.
In the Mid Tipp Junior B Hurling Championship, in Littleton, Boherlahan Dualla claimed a victory over Gortnahoe-Glengoole, that match finishing 1-25 to 2-7.
