Ryan’s Hurlers go down by a point in Cork

Michael Ryan's side were already through to the quarter finals but Cork scraped the win today to join them in the play-offs.

There was only a point between them in the end – Cork 0-26 Tipperary 3-16.

The Premier County will play Offaly in the quarter-finals.

Elsewhere it's been confirmed that Dublin and Clare will battle it out in the Allianz Hurling League Division Relegation play-off.

It's after Dublin lost to Kilkenny by 2-20 to 1-16 at Parnell Park and Clare went down 2-21 to 1-22 to Waterford at Innovate Wexford Park.

Kilkenny and Waterford both progressed to the quarter-finals where They'll be joined by Cork after today's result…

In Division 1B, Already promoted Wexford claimed their fifth straight win as they defeated Laois by 2-24 to 2-20 at Innovate Wexford Park.

Galway finish second in the Division after they beat Limerick by 0-24 to 1-18 at the Gaelic Grounds.

It finished Kerry 2-16 Offaly 1-21at Austin Stack Park – Laois will host Kerry in a relegation play/off next weekend.

And the  quarter-final line-up has been confirmed following today's games.

Tipperary will face Offaly, Cork will go up against Limerick, it's Waterford against Galway and Kilkenny will meet Wexford
