In football, Loughmore Castleiney had one point to spare over Galtee Rovers/St Pecaun…it finished 7 points to 6 while in group 4 of the County Senior football championship…Drom & Inch were comfortable winners over Ardfinnan…the final score there was 1-12 to 8 points.
