The side narrowly lost their first match of the year against Clare in the McGrath Cup at the weekend but performed well even though many of those that would probably be in the starting fifteen were unavailable.
Their next outing in the competition is against Kerry on Sunday week.
Selector Shane Stapleton says the players' commitment has been impressive despite the many other demands on their time.
