Peter Creedon has been ratified as manager of the Tipperary Senior footballers for the remainder of the season

The County Board last night approved the recommendation of the Football Board to appoint the Cork native to succeed John Evans who stepped down earlier this month.

Peter Creedon is the Principal of St Ailbe's School in Tipp town and lives in Thurles.

He spent 5 years in charge of Tipperary Minor and Under 21 teams from 2003 to 2008.

Donegal native, Gerry McGill and Michael O’Loughlin from Clonmel will be Peter’s selectors.
