Munster secure three players with new contracts

Back-row forwards Robin Copeland and Dave O'Callaghan have both signed new two-year contracts with the province, while academy centre Rory Scannell – who is the younger brother of hooker Niall – is to be given a development contract for next season, advancing to full terms the following year.

Meanwhile, Cian Healy's new disciplinary hearing will be held tomorrow in London.

The Leinster prop is to have his case re-heard after he was initially cited with striking with the knee in the European Champions Cup loss to Toulon earlier this month.

Healy initially won an appeal against his proposed two-week ban after he was punished for an offence different from the one he was cited for.

The case will now be re-heard by a different judicial officer.
