There’s further good news for the Tipperary footballers following their impressive win over Cork in the opening game of the League campaign.
Liam McGrath has been included in the GAA’s team of the week for his man of the match performance in Pairc ui Chaoimh last Saturday.
The Loughmore Castleiney clubman contributed 2-5 of Tipp’s tally of 3-16.
He has been selected alongside the Kerry pair of Stephen O’Brien and Sean O’Shea in the half-forward line of the team of the week.
Tipp play host to Roscommon next weekend at Semple Stadium.
