Frank Lampard has confirmed that he will play for New York City.
The midfielder – who recently had his loan at Manchester City extended – has moved to end speculation he had not actually signed a deal with the MLS side.
Lampard says he has signed a 2-year deal with the new MLS outfit, and will return to them at the end of the current Premier League season.
