Irish soccer side in Vienna for WC qualifier

The Republic of Ireland get a first look at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna later today.

The squad has been trimmed to 27, with Eunan O'Kane returning to Leeds with a groin problem.

Ireland have never beaten Austria away from home, but are looking to continue their unbeaten start to World Cup qualifying Group D.

On the pitch tonight, the Group E meeting of England and Scotland is the stand-out game.

Wayne Rooney captains the hosts a Wembley, with England looking to maintain an unbeaten start of their own.

Elsewhere in that group, Malta face Slovenia, and Slovakia play host to Lithuania.

Following last month's defeat to Germany, Northern Ireland will look to get their Group C campaign back on track when they welcome Azerbaijan to Windsor Park.

Germany's one-hundred per cent start is likely to continue away to San Marino

While the Czech Republic take on Norway.
