Preparations have gone well for the Tipp minors since their Munster final victory over Limerick but they have a number of injury worries to contend with ahead of the All Ireland semi final.

Last Saturday Kilkenny overcame Limerick and set up a mouth watering encounter between the Premier and the Cats at GAA headquarters next Sunday afternoon.

Tipp look set to be without key player Fintan Purcell from Drom Inch for the clash.

Minor manager and former senior All Ireland winning captain Tommy Dunne told Tipp FM Sport that overall preparations have gone well and the other players carrying knocks should be fine by Sunday.
