Forde appeal this evening.

Tipperary is hoping for a boost ahead of their Munster Championship opener against Cork this weekend.

Jason Forde is due to have his one match ban appeal heard this evening.

He was originally handed a two match ban for ‘any type of assault on an opposing team official.’

However, it was halved on appeal by the Central Hearings Committee and the infraction lessened to ‘contributing to a melee.’

The Tipp County Board is confident it has a good case for getting the suspension overturned, making Forde available for the game against Cork this weekend.
