Last two spots in the All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals up for grabs

The last two spots in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-finals are on the line at Croke Park this evening.

Monaghan, who are unchanged from last week’s win over Carlow, will be seeking to avenge their Ulster semi-final loss when they take on Down in the opener at 5pm.

While the second game of the double-header sees Armagh boss Kieran McGeeney come up against his former Kildare charges at 7.

McGeeney has brought in Ethan Rafferty and Anto Duffy to start in the half-forwards with Greg McCabe and Ciaron O’Hanlon missing out.

Ex Armagh star Aaron Kernan says they’re still in a period of development.

Kildare have made one enforced change from their Leinster Final loss to Dublin with wing-back Peter Kelly in for the injured Eoin Doyle.

Former Lilywhites defender Andrew McLoughlin says Doyle is a big loss
