Frustrating night for English sides in Champions League

Tottenham and Leicester were both left goal-less and frustrated last night in the Champions League.

Spurs were booed-off the pitch in Wembley as they slumped to a disappointing 1-0 loss to Bayer Leverkusen.

The win for the German side means that they have now overtaken Tottenham to move into second place in Group E.

Meanwhile, despite being held to a scoreless draw in Copenhagen, Leicester are still top of Group G and need just one more point from their remaining two games to guarantee a place in the last-16.

Meanwhile, Dundalk are in Russia tonight for their latest Europa League adventure.

Stephen Kenny's side will be hoping to shock Group D top-seeds Zenit St Petersburg after nearly causing an upset against the Russian side at the Tallaght Stadium last time out.

Manchester United and Southampton are also in action tonight.
