Carrick on Suir’s Sam Bennett has won the second stage of cycling’s Tour of Turkey.
It’s his second straight victory on the Tour, leaving him first in general classification and extending his race lead in the process.

Bennett had a clear advantage as he crossed the line more than two bike lengths’ ahead of his closest competitor, on what’s the longest stage of the Tour.
The Bora-Hansgrohe rider finished in a time of 6:02:06.
