Ireland's Test captain, Niamh Briggs has been added to the Women's Sevens squad for the opening leg of the Rugby Europe Women's Sevens Grand Prix in Russia.
As they ramp-up their preparations before the Women's Global Olympic Qualifying Tournament which takes place in UCD at the end of the month, Briggs has been drafted into the team after playing with the Irish Development side in recent weeks.
Fit-again Nicole Cronin and Louise Galvin will also return to Anthony Eddy's panel for the trip to Kazan.
