Tipperary’s Dean Gardiner is back in the ring at the World Elite Championships in Hamburg this afternoon.
The Clonmel Super Heavyweight is up against Columbia’s Cristian Salcedo Codazzi in the last bout of the afternoon session.
Dean secured his place in the last 16 after a convincing won over his Korean southpaw opponent on Saturday night who was ranked 27 places above him.
Later this evening Brendan Irvine is in action at Light Flyweight while Joe Ward takes to the ring in the Light Heavyweight division.
