The Team Bora Argon 18 sprinter was 6th in the bunch sprint which decided the 114 kilometres stage which finished in Doha.
Bennett was 7th overall of the 128 finishers, just 47 seconds behind winner Mark Cavendish.
It was the Manx's riders second win in the event, which was being held for the 15th time.
