Tipperary Senior Hurling management team ratified by County Board

Tipperary County Board Chairman Sean Nugent believes that the recent announcement of the make-up of the Premier County's senior hurling management team provides “continuity”.

It had been revealed on Tipp FM last Sunday that manager Eamon O' Shea and his management team of Michael Ryan and Paudie O' Neill were willing to stay on for 2015, with Ryan then succeeding O' Shea as manager, once he steps down next year.

As well as this, they also wished to add Declan Fanning to the management team, as an extra selector- his addition was ratified at last night's County Board Meeting in Thurles.

Speaking at that meeting, Sean Nugent added that Michael Ryan is the ideal man to become the next Tipperary manager given his experience as a player and with the backroom team in recent years.
