David Powers side eased past Waterford in Semple Stadium last night on a scoreline of 1-17 to 9 points.
The All Ireland Minor winning trio of Michael Quinlivan, Liam McGrath and Philip Quirke contributing 1-13 of Tipp's tally.
The game against Clare will be on Wednesday, March 27th in Semple Stadium with a 7.30 throw-in.
Last nights other quarter final was a much closer affair as Cork edged out Kerry with a last minute point to emerge victorious on a scoreline of 0-14 points to 2-7.
The Rebels meet Limerick in the semi-finals.
