Brian Hogan of Lorrha – whose dad is renowned net minder Ken Hogan – was one of two goalkeepers called into the 40-strong training panel by manager Michael Ryan.
Brian didn't line out for Tipp during their challenge match at the weekend as he was on duty with his club…Darren Gleeson and Darragh Mooney of Eire Óg Annacarty were between the posts for the Premier County.
Ken is delighted for his son but says there's still a long road ahead of him.
